Building confidence through movement is the purpose of the Physical Education program. Guided by SHAPE America standards, we help students build confidence, coordination, and a love of being active. Whether learning basic skills or playing team sports, students develop teamwork, sportsmanship, and resilience. We believe that moving well supports a healthy, happy life.
In the early years, students focus on foundational skills like running, jumping, throwing, and catching through games, gymnastics, and swimming. As they grow, they take on more complex activities, including basketball, volleyball, and track and field.
Each unit gives students opportunities to practice skills, work together, and solve problems, sometimes even creating their own games. We value progress and effort, encouraging students to reflect and improve. By exploring a variety of activities, students build the skills and motivation to stay active for life.
